Dr. Olmsted grew up in Haverhill, MA but has been a frequent visitor to Cape Cod for over 10 years. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2010 with two bachelors’ degrees in Microbiology and History. Following that, he moved to Boston with his now wife Dr. Sarah Gibbons, and attended the Boston University School of Dental Medicine to complete his DMD.

Dr. Olmsted comes from a family of dentists. He has four close relatives in the dental field along the East Coast. Dr. Olmsted enjoys many aspects of the dental profession, particularly aesthetic and surgical procedures. Dr. Olmsted believes in listening to patients the way he would like to be listened to by his own doctor. He believes that careful diagnosis and thorough communication is the foundation of a good relationship between a doctor and patients.

After working with Dr. Weiler for five years, Dr. Gibbons and Dr. Olmsted bought this practice from Dr. Weiler in 2022 to continue its legacy as a community focused private practice.

He worked is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry.

He and Dr. Gibbons live in Brewster with their dog, Lunchbox, and daughter, Vivian. When he isn’t fixing teeth, he enjoys biking, running, kayaking, bird-watching, and spending time with his friends and family.
